Scott B. Flaherty appointed Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Colt Defense LLC

Colt Defense LLC (“Colt Defense”) announces the appointment of Scott B. Flaherty as Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of the company, replacing David Almeida who has left the company to become a founding principal at the Connecticut Capital Group LLC. Formerly the company’s Chief Corporate Development Officer, Mr. Flaherty has been with Colt Defense since May of 2009. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Flaherty was a Managing Director in the equity capital markets origination business at Banc of America Securities LLC. Prior to joining Banc of America Securities in 2001, Mr. Flaherty was an investment banker at Credit Suisse First Boston. Mr. Flaherty received a BS from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at NYU.
